Biography
Artist & Photgrapher: Robert Panzer
Art is an essential part of humanity with a foundation in story-telling and self-expression. I believe art connects the body and soul, and shares ideas that bring people together. It is a principle that I use when evaluating nature and the community for inspiration.
My creative practice includes selecting visual elements and techniques that portray an image or story through media that includes photography, painting (acrylic, oil, mixed media) and digital design. Currently, I am focused on natural subjects that celebrate the Arizona landscape, with artwork and design that utilizes color in unique and inspiring ways.
I have 30 years of experience as an artist that includes a Bachelors of Fine Arts, Painting degree from ASU and awards, commissions and exhibitions including Traffic Cabinet Wrap Awards from the Cities of Peoria, Surprise, and Apache Junction, and exhibitions that include annual faculty art shows, the Arizona Biennial – Tucson Museum of Art, The Casa Grande Art Museum and the City of Glendale. Over the years, I have also been commissioned for photography and oil paintings, and I have also worked as an arts educator and arts administrator for over 25 years in public education.
